Clothes and jewels: c’mon admit it, this mix drives us crazy. Pure happiness is when the two collide in one shop. Thanks to the word of mouth I arrived to Santambrogio 16, an atelier I fell in love with at first sight and that is now one of my favourites, along with Casa Orecchino and Massimo Molina’s atelier.
Let’s start from where it is located, in front of the beautiful Basilica of Sant’Ambrogio, in the piazza that bears the same name: this alone is worth the visit! The concept store exhibits exclusively hand-made creations of two ladies, Elena and Christiane, specialized in jewels the former and in pieces of clothing the latter. I fell in love with the jewelry (prices vary from 40 to 150 euros): minimalist, decorated with stones, made of silver or bronze, they are definitely my must-have for this summer. The pieces of clothing (prices from 50 to 80 euros) space from shirts to beach robes to scarfs and they are all a true colour explosion stimulating happiness! Since we have had enough of wearing serial pieces having a peek into SantAmbrogio 16 is a great chance for expressing originality, also because not so many know about this little gem.
During the opening party of the concept store there were some vegetarian treats by Altatto, another good reason for feeling great: I will soon tell you about this catering service, and especially about their veggie sushi to die for!
